This website is a sampling of some of my artwork, primarily papercuttings and woodcarvings.  Most of my work is inspired by wildlife and nature in some way- whether it is a scene taken from nature outlined and cut into paper, a carving that brings a face to life in a piece of tree bark, or a design following the gentle curves of an eggshell.  Nature is an endless source of fascination, wonder and joy to me, and I hope my work can bring a little of that across to the viewer.

DECEMBER 2009    My last show of the year is over! I am very low on cottonwood carvings and carved ornaments, so I will have to get moving and start carving a lot again! Not that I needed much of an excuse.. :) I also need to find another large cottonwood bark piece to carve since I sold my only huge piece at the show this past weekend.. Also sold my final edition on two of my golden retriever pieces, so I need to find myself a new golden model.
